at Atlanta Pet Fair and other top trade shows, BBird is known for her ability
to explain and make subjects understandable. Combining over thirty years at the
grooming table and as a business owner with an extensive academic career,

esteemed Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award in grooming journalism, she took
home the prize for 2006 and again in 2007. In 2011, BBird won the Barkleigh
Honors Award for “Blog of the Year”. Writing skills are vital to delivering
online education and Barbara is uniquely blessed. She is a regular contributor
to Pet Age Magazine and has over one hundred articles for groomers on the
GroomBlog, <a href=""><span style="color:#0023E3"></span></a>


Daryl Conner, Teaching Associate, is a certified Petcare Dermatech Specialist, Master Pet Stylist, Meritus.  A contributing editor for Pet Age magazine and co-editor of the New England Pet Grooming Professional's newsletter, Daryl's musings have also been found in Dog World, Groomer to Groomer, and on many Internet sites.  She is the proud recipient of the 2005 Cardinal Crystal award for Journalism and the 2006 award for Congeniality.  Daryl is the U.S. ambassador for the German Red clipper.

Daryl is known for her fun and informative educational classes at grooming shows across the country.  Her grounded, friendly style makes her an approachable and popular teacher.  With over 23 years of grooming experience, Daryl's passion for our trade radiates out to everyone she touches through her work.
